RISING SUN

KAUAI HAWAII

We had an amazing sunrise on Kauai a few weeks ago and I sat on the shore in awe and watched it unfold. I could hardly believe the color and I video taped it and posted it on my Facebook page so everyone could see. This is one of the most colorful sunrises I have ever seen.

POWER OF THE OCEAN

KAUAI HAWAII

Shooting large waves can be challenging and in this scene an added element of a catch light on the wave gives extra depth to the photograph......use whatever available light there is to enhance you photographs.

MOSS FALLS

ALBERTA CANADA

This is one of my new favourites. There is something about a moss covered rock wall..... I find the colors very interesting and the added shine from the last shower adds some nice contrast to the shot. The fall is only several inches wide.

RAINFOREST PANO

GOLDEN EARS PROVINCIAL PARK

In order to have a good stitch you must have a good number of balanced and level files to put together..... I recommend the exposure remains the same as well as the focus point. Start off by selecting a good balanced exposure and pick a good focus point and shoot using the lens happy place (on most lens between F8 and F11) .
