MOSS FALLS

ALBERTA CANADA

This is one of my new favourites. There is something about a moss covered rock wall..... I find the colors very interesting and the added shine from the last shower adds some nice contrast to the shot. The fall is only several inches wide.

RAINFOREST PANO

GOLDEN EARS PROVINCIAL PARK

In order to have a good stitch you must have a good number of balanced and level files to put together..... I recommend the exposure remains the same as well as the focus point. Start off by selecting a good balanced exposure and pick a good focus point and shoot using the lens happy place (on most lens between F8 and F11) .

THE NATURAL BRIDGE

YOHO PARK

I have said before that reasearch your locations to eliminate wasted time. I recently saw a post on Facebook that was of Emerald Lake and it looked like a place I would like to see and put my own twist on it. I traveled to the location and found the Lake however it was not what it seemed in the post so I moved on.

GOD'S WORK

MANNING PROVINCIAL PARK

It seems there is a place in this world for large canvas panoramas and I love shooting them and creating monster files and printing very large canvas Art. When you stitch a large number of files together of a distant scene you must pay particular attention to the light changes through the scene. I have found the best time to create a monster file is when there is an overcast sky.

NEW RELEASE | WONDERLAND

Working in the rainforest by yourself has a mystical feeling about it. There is seldom a sound but the wind blowing in the treetops or the sound of rain falling on the leaves around you. It is a great place to clear your mind and just focus on what you are doing. Todays technology give us the opportunity to create special image's that will stop people in their tracks to admire.

Landscape Photography at it's Best

The Palouse

If I was asked to give advise to my fellow photographers the number one thing would be to reasearch the area you want to photograph long before you go. This is something I have always done and it will save time and expense. Give it a try.......
