HIGH NOON

THE PALOUSE

It's time to start planning your trip to the Palouse. The springs can vary from year to year but the first week of June can be a good bet. Check with the hotels in Colfax Washington and they will give you a good report on the conditions. You can plan a minimum of 3 days  to see it all.

Landscape Photography at it's Best

The Palouse

If I was asked to give advise to my fellow photographers the number one thing would be to reasearch the area you want to photograph long before you go. This is something I have always done and it will save time and expense. Give it a try.......

NEW RELEASE | PASTEL

THE PALOUSE

I have 2 new releases for the Palouse. "Sun's Glory" below and this one called "Pastel"  The difference is the lighting and the time of day. Sun's Glory was shot in hard directional light and Pastel was shot overcast soft non-directional light. It just goes to show how much of a difference lighting can make to a scene. This new release is available in a number of sizes and media.

NEW RELEASE | SUN'S GLORY

Palouse Landscape

I finally managed to get to the Palouse after several years of trying. It seem one thing or the other kept me from going. Well to say the least I was not dissapointed. The Palouse is as spectacular as they said it would be. One of the worlds finest landscape locations. It was difficult to shoot and I went with an image in mind and after 4 days in the feild I have the shot I was looking for.
